Job Overview: Junior Services Technician
The Junior Services Technician at Woodlands Dairy plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of the utilities department. The position involves the maintenance, repair, and optimization of various equipment and infrastructure to ensure the smooth operation of the dairy factory’s production processes.
Key Performance Areas:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all utilities plant and equipment, including water treatment plants, compressed air plants, boilers, ammonia plants, cold and freezer rooms, AHU, cooling towers, and transformers.
- Standby Duties: Be available for standby duties and respond to callouts after hours to address any urgent maintenance issues.
- Proactive Approach: Take a hands-on and proactive approach to ensure uninterrupted operation of all utilities supporting the factory’s production processes.
Knowledge and Skills:
Woodlands Dairy is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications and skills:
- Trade Qualification: Must have completed a Millwright/Electrician or related trade.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a dairy or food processing environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Safety Awareness: Previous experience with safety inspections and maintenance in industrial settings.
