1. Superintendent: Civil Maintenance – Klawer
- Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have a Grade 12 or equivalent technical qualification, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and a valid code C driver’s license. Proficiency in Afrikaans, English, or Xhosa is essential.
2. Foreman (Water & Sanitation, Roads, Stormwater, Parks, Sport Grounds, Cemeteries & Street Cleaning) – Vanrhynsdorp
- Minimum Requirements: Applicants should possess a Grade 10 qualification or equivalent, along with 3-5 years of experience and a valid code EB driver’s license with a Public Driver’s Permit (PDP).
3. Building Inspector – Vredendal
- Minimum Requirements: A relevant N3 Civil/Building Construction Trade Certificate (NQF 5), 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to register with the South African Council of Architectural Profession (SACAP) are required.
4. Assistant Town Planner – Matzikama Area
- Minimum Requirements: A tertiary qualification in Town and Regional Planning or related fields is needed, along with 0-2 years of experience. Proficiency in relevant GIS software and the ability to communicate effectively in two official languages of the Western Cape are also required.
