Job Overview
As an Admin Assistant at SITA, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the Central Region KZN department. Your role includes preparing reports, managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and supporting logistical arrangements for the division. Additionally, you will manage the Provincial Manager’s diary and office budget, as well as organize travel arrangements according to SITA policies

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and record all incoming and outgoing correspondence for proper record-keeping.
  • Prepare and distribute minutes, presentations, and office documentation to the relevant parties.
  • Perform general office duties, including arranging work sessions and staff meetings.
  • Handle travel arrangements such as accommodation and flights for the department.
  • Draft business cases as needed for the Provincial Manager.
  • Manage the Provincial Manager’s diary and oversee the office budget.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Minimum: Grade 12 (NQF level 4) plus a relevant recognized short course (certificate of competence).
  • Certification: MS Office certification is an added advantage.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in administrative roles.
