Key Responsibilities
As a Population Science Intern at AHRI, your duties will include:
- Understanding the operations of the Health and Demographic Surveillance System.
- Interviewing study participants and collecting formative data to support the development of the myAHRI App, under the guidance of the study principal investigator.
- Analyzing data and developing research manuscripts for publication.
- Undertaking other duties as directed by the line manager.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for the AHRI Research Internship, you must:
- Hold an Honours degree in Population Science or a relevant discipline.
- Be a South African resident.
Minimum Experience
- Strong foundation in Population Studies.
- Good skills in Microsoft Office.
Skills Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Accuracy and precision in tasks.
- High computer literacy.
- Report writing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
