  • Certification: NTC 3 qualification with completed mechanical courses and a Trade Test Certificate in Diesel Mechanics.
  • Experience: At least two years of post-Trade Test experience, preferably working with a large fleet of high-tech buses or vehicles.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with bus-specific diagnostic tools and equipment for diesel motors (advantageous).
  • Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Code C or Code EB license.

Responsibilities of the Role

As an Artisan: Diesel Mechanic, your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting inspections and diagnosing issues in diesel engines and other vehicle systems.
  • Performing repairs and maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of the Metrobus fleet.
  • Using diagnostic tools specific to buses to identify mechanical problems.
